Each day, typically mid morning, I have a Zoom meeting with my immediate colleagues to catch up on progress and discuss our plans for the next 24 hours.

Having been for a run, or some form of exercise early on, I’ll have had a shower and eaten breakfast before I start work, but sometimes that’s where the cleansing/beautifying routine finishes.
10.30 rolls around, I start to get a little peckish, and then I remember I need to brush my teeth.
Obviously there’s a hygiene thing here, and it is good practice to give your pegs a brush morning and evening… but what’s driven it is the face to face meeting, via a computer screen that has no way of transmitting any kind of oral odur, or a zoom function to highlight a rouge Rice Krispie from earlier in the day.
Five to eleven, and if I haven’t done it yet it’s a mad dash to top up my glass, visit the toilet and clean my gnashers ready for my daily video chat.
My hair might be unkempt. In fact it’s almost a given now… My work attire a little more casual than if I was in the office and if the weather is nice I’ll even be sans socks, but my teeth will be minty fresh and ready for action.
If you have the pleasure (and largely I feel it is a pleasure and a privilege) to work from home what’s your ‘must do’ routine that perhaps makes no sense, but you’ve adopted as part of your newworking routine?
