Where is life taking you next? Are you wandering in hope of inspiration, or have you got a journey planned out?

I first heard the bus metaphor for life over twenty years ago. People get on and off your bus as you travel through the day, weeks, months and years of your existence. But that’s ok. Not everyone is going to the same place as you.
That’s not a heaven and hell reference; that’s a some people are on a bus named happiness, others are travelling on an express coach to success at all cost. Others are accepting of any ride as long as it’s free, and so they put themselves at the mercy of a driver to guide them.
This blog isn’t about telling you where you should be heading, your destiny and life plan is for you to decide. What I am offering you though, is a seat on my bus.
You can sit by the window if you like, but personally I would avoid the pew above the wheel, as not only do you get limited foot room, but it can make you feel sick!
Where is my bus going? That’s a good question. Physically, and geographically it’s going on a journey which will return to my home town, as that is where I feel happy, surrounded by family and friends.
Metaphorically and mentally my bus will be cruising happiness highway, taking in the peaks of positivity and the motivation mountains. It might get cold outside but we’ll have a heater on full blast to combat the chills.
Of course we’ll stop for souvenirs to grab some takeaways from the places we’ve been. Whether you want a picture postcard of encouragement, a keychain of creativity or a cuddly toy to symbolise success you’ll find it at the finest gift shop your imagination can dream up.
And when you want to get off, just get off… no need to tell me, or explain. And should you need a lift again in the future just flag us down…We’ll be the bus that’s got music playing, people smiling and laughing and everyone enjoying this thing called life.
Love to you all
